Simple facts about Initial D

1.The GS gas station in Initial D are
    actually based from the Esso gas
    station.

2.Initial D characters always wear
    different clothing everyday.
    However, this was not so common
    in earlier stage, but are more
    apparently seen in later stage.

3.Takumi Fujiwara has been driving
    illegaly in Japanese road long
    before obtaining his licence.

4.Shuichi Shigeno (Initial D creator)
    got all information about drifting
    from a professional racer named
    Keiichi Tsuchiya known as the Drift
    King.

5.Shuichi Shigeno himself own a
    Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-
    APEX (AE86) model and a Subaru
    IMPREZA WRX type R Sti Version V
    (GC8). These car were shown in the
    Initial D series.

6.In Initial D anime we can see Bunta
    Fujiwara closed his eyes. However,
    in Initial D live-action movie he not
    closed his eyes.

7.Mount Haruna actually is the
    famous mountain in the Initial D
    series under the fictional name
    Akina.

8.If you play Initial D Street Stage
    (PSP) game you can see Bunta car
    colour is different than anime
    series.

9.The car brand Trueno (in front of
    the Takumi car) is spelled as
    Toreno in the first stage until
    Toyota allowed to use the actual
    name.

10.Before Initial D, Shuichi Shigeno
      has also created motorbike racing
      manga and the title is Baribari
      Densetsu. This story is similar like
      Initial D series.
