Simple facts about origami

1.Origami is the art of folding paper,
    generally without cutting or glue.

2.Kirigami is a variation of origami
    that includes cutting of the paper.

3.Orizuru (paper crane) is a design
    considered the most classic of all
    Japanese origami.

4.On 29 August 2009, the largest
    origami paper crane was created
    by 800 people of the Peace Piece
    Project (all Japan) at the
    Hiroshima Shudo University.

5.On 30 November 2010, Yoneyama
    Yuichi broke a world record by
    folding 100 paper cranes in just 40
    minutes 35 seconds.

6.Akira Naito was a Japanese person
    who created the smallest paper
    crane. He folded a 0.1 x 0.1 mm
    square of paper to make this paper
    crane.

7.Once upon a time, most people in
    Japan use washi (Japanese paper)
    to fold origami.

8.Origami has also become an
    important aspect of Japanese
    ceremony during the Heian period.

9.Akira Yoshizawa was a Japanese
    origamist, also known as the
    grandmaster of origami.

10.In Japanese tradition, they believe
      if you made a senbazuru (a
      thousand paper cranes) and made
      a wish after completed each one,
      your wish would come true.

Simple facts about Initial D

1.The GS gas station in Initial D are
    actually based from the Esso gas
    station.

2.Initial D characters always wear
    different clothing everyday.
    However, this was not so common
    in earlier stage, but are more
    apparently seen in later stage.

3.Takumi Fujiwara has been driving
    illegaly in Japanese road long
    before obtaining his licence.

4.Shuichi Shigeno (Initial D creator)
    got all information about drifting
    from a professional racer named
    Keiichi Tsuchiya known as the Drift
    King.

5.Shuichi Shigeno himself own a
    Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-
    APEX (AE86) model and a Subaru
    IMPREZA WRX type R Sti Version V
    (GC8). These car were shown in the
    Initial D series.

6.In Initial D anime we can see Bunta
    Fujiwara closed his eyes. However,
    in Initial D live-action movie he not
    closed his eyes.

7.Mount Haruna actually is the
    famous mountain in the Initial D
    series under the fictional name
    Akina.

8.If you play Initial D Street Stage
    (PSP) game you can see Bunta car
    colour is different than anime
    series.

9.The car brand Trueno (in front of
    the Takumi car) is spelled as
    Toreno in the first stage until
    Toyota allowed to use the actual
    name.

10.Before Initial D, Shuichi Shigeno
      has also created motorbike racing
      manga and the title is Baribari
      Densetsu. This story is similar like
      Initial D series.

Simple facts about Mario (video game)

1.During the development of the
    game Donkey Kong (the first Mario
    game). Mario was known as
    Jumpman.

2.In the first game, Mario was made
    into a carpenter. But later Nintendo
    decided that Mario should be a
    plumber, since a lot of the game
    was played in the underground
    setting.

3.Luigi is Mario younger brother,
    both of them is Italian-American
    people which work as a plumber in
    New York City.

4.Originally Miyamoto Shigeru
    (Mario creator) wanted to used
    Popeye, Bluto and Olive Oyl
    characters to create a video game.
    However, he was unable to aqcuire
    a license to use the characters, so
    he ended up making Jumpman
    (Mario), Donkey Kong and Pauline.

5.Super Mario Bros. was the first
    movie based on a video game
    franchise.

6.The Mario series of video games
    has sold more than 500 million
    copies (510 million as of 2015),
    making it the best selling video
    game franchise of all time.

7.There is an island in Super Mario
    Bros. 3 that is shaped like Japan,
    with a castle near where Kyoto
    would be located, which is where
    Nintendo is headquartered.

8.Before Mario name was Jumpman,
    Mario was known as Mr Video, and
    before that his name is Ossan
    which mean middle-aged guy in
    Japanese.

9.Wario name is actually based on
    the Japanese word for bad, which
    is Warui, and is a shortened version
    of Warui Mario.

10.Miyamoto Shigeru wanted Mario
      to ride a dinosaur way back when
      Super Mario Bros. first released,
      but the Nintendo technical
      limitations made this impossible.
      It was six years before this vision
      was realised.
